Could you take us through the journey of Swelect over the years?
Swelect, formerly known as Numeric Power Systems Limited, has more than 40 years of experience in power electronics and power systems. Our core strengths include plant uptime, highest quality, and a strong commitment to stakeholders. Currently, Swelect focuses on three major activities: module manufacturing for SHPV solar, a vibrant projects team for rooftop and ground mount projects, and an energy sales vertical catering to major corporates and MNCs across India. With over 17 years in the renewable space, especially solar, we are poised for further growth both domestically and internationally.
What technologies and solutions has Swelect showcased at REI 2024?
We have launched our high-efficiency Topcon modules, which have capacities of around 680 watts. These modules are made from high-quality grade A solar cells, and we adhere to more than 40 stringent quality standards. Our technical team is on hand to explain our technologies further, and we are committed to delivering these high-efficiency modules to both the Indian and international markets.
How does Swelect differentiate itself in the competitive renewable energy sector?
Swelect is recognized as a high-quality module manufacturer and a reputed OEM in India. Our major unique selling proposition (USP) is our commitment to quality. We ensure the use of top-quality raw materials and manufacturing processes, with a leadership team focused on stakeholder interests. Customer satisfaction is our motto, which drives our growth. Additionally, over 80% of our factory’s power consumption comes from solar, and we have an ongoing recycling program to promote a circular economy.
Which product or solution of yours is currently gaining more attention?
Currently, our module manufacturing and sales are gaining significant traction. With our one-gigawatt facility, we expect to capture a larger market share. Our projects business is also experiencing strong growth, and we are optimistic about increasing our presence in the market.
What milestones has Swelect set for the next five years?
In the next five years, we aim to establish a two-gigawatt module manufacturing facility and a one-gigawatt cell manufacturing facility. Our vision is to be a comprehensive renewable energy company, excelling in module manufacturing, project development, and independent power production.
