3A Composites Expands Product Portfolio with ALUCODUAL Launch

3A Composites, renowned globally for its ALUCOBOND brand and expertise in high-quality aluminium composite materials, has introduced ALUCODUAL, an innovative engineered solid sheet for advanced architectural applications. This ‘Made in India’ product, developed at the company’s Ranjangaon facility near Pune, combines pre-coated laminated aluminium with a focus on durability, flatness, and design flexibility. ALUCODUAL aims to meet the demands of facade, cladding, and ceiling applications in architectural projects where aesthetics and performance are key.

ALUCODUAL features enhanced structural stability, providing greater stiffness and allowing architects to use larger panels with fewer joints. This reduces installation complexity and costs, making it suitable for extensive, high-profile projects such as airports, stadiums, and high-rise buildings. The solid sheets, crafted from corrosion-resistant Marine Grade Alloy, offer longevity and resilience in challenging environments.

“Our latest innovation, ALUCODUAL, is an indigenously developed product ready to serve both domestic and global markets,” shared Ranjeet Sharma, President and CEO of 3A Composites India. “The product allows architects to create expansive, structurally sound cladding designs, bringing fresh trends to the industry.” Sharma noted that the Ranjangaon facility will act as a hub for ALUCODUAL production, with a primary focus on supplying the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions.

Unlike conventional post-coated sheets, ALUCODUAL employs a multi-coat, multi-bake PVDF/FEVE paint process, delivering long-lasting performance in outdoor environments. Its fire-retardant properties align with stringent EN-3501-1 standards, ensuring safety without emitting harmful gases or burning droplets during fires. The product’s flexibility also extends to complex 3D shapes and diverse finishes, including metallic, wood, concrete, and glossy looks, catering to a wide array of architectural styles.

“India’s architectural solid sheet market has lacked branded, precision pre-coated options,” said Amar Kirale, Associate Vice President of Marketing at 3A Composites India. “With ALUCODUAL, we are closing this gap, offering a standardized, high-quality solution for architects nationwide.”

The company is now targeting developers, fabricators, and architects across India, leveraging its established sales network.
