ECE India Opens Corporate HQ in Pune
ECE India Energies, one of India’s fastest-growing solar panel manufacturers, inaugurated its new state-of-the-art corporate headquarters in Pune on June 6. Strategically located at Regent Plaza, Baner, the 2,500 sq. ft. office is poised to serve as the nerve centre for the company’s corporate operations and strategic planning, marking a major milestone in its journey towards becoming a national solar brand.
The grand opening ceremony witnessed participation from prominent dignitaries including President of India Awardee Dr. Girish Kulkarni (Founder, Snehalaya), Dr. Yogesh Pawar (Founder, School of Inspirational Leadership), top ECE leadership, industry veterans, and channel partners.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Girish Kulkarni recalled the company’s humble beginnings, “ECE India started in a 10×10 square feet space with a small inverter business. Today, it has evolved into a company committed to empowering every citizen with solar energy while actively supporting grassroots NGOs. Their growth is lifting communities.”
Dr. Yogesh Pawar praised the company’s values, stating, “ECE Energies has the right ethos, right leadership, and the right products. With Amit Arokar at the helm, the company is set to fly even higher.”
Founded in 2015 in Amravati, Maharashtra, ECE India Energies has steadily expanded its presence across India. The Pune office marks its foray into a Tier-1 city, further strengthening its brand visibility and proximity to key stakeholders. The company is already planning offices in Mumbai and other metro cities, with long-term goals to expand internationally.
In his address, Amit Arokar, Founder & Managing Director of ECE Group of Companies, said, “This is not just my journey, it’s our journey. We started from a Tier-4 city, Amravati, and now we are growing beyond Maharashtra, beyond India. Pune is our steppingstone to becoming a ‘metro’ brand. We are investing in training channel partners in commercial, industrial, and agricultural solar applications—carrying our value system across India.”
Aniket Tondare, Director – Sales, ECE India, reflected on the team’s journey, “We started with a small team and capital, and today we have grown to 450 people. Our 1.2 GW solar module production facility will soon be operational, pushing our capacity close to 2 GW. We are also exploring solar cell manufacturing with visits scheduled to China for shortlisted proposals.”
Adding to this vision, Suraj Gawande, Director – Production, ECE India said, “Just like a sculptor shapes a sculpture, ECE has shaped its journey. Our next big milestone is launching a fully automated 1.2 GW solar production line soon.”
Sameer Kale, Director – Supply Chain Management, ECE India highlighted the importance of the Pune HQ and said, “It was a dream for the last 5–6 years. This is just the beginning—we’re already eyeing Mumbai next.”
Atul Meshram, VP – Sales, ECE India emphasized Pune’s strategic location: “Pune will be a major contributor to our growth. We’ve already started expanding into North and South India. Being in a Tier-1 city like Pune gives us access to large clients and markets.”
The company’s VP – HR & Admin Subodh Pitkar, added, “This marks a new era for us. We’re laying the foundation for entry into metro cities and eventually global markets.”
ECE India’s channel partners also hailed the company’s growth and values. Sanjay Aher from Green Wheel, Nashik appreciated ECE’s collaborative approach, stating, “Their focus is growth—for everyone.” Samson Pare from SR Enterprises, Pune emphasized quality and service as ECE’s core strengths whereas Vitthal Sonar from Celltech Power, Pune called the new office inauguration a matter of great pride.
