BKT Tyres strengthens Commercial Vehicle Presence in Madhya Pradesh

The new distributor facility strengthens BKT Tyres’ market access in Central India and supports its focus on growing its CVR business in Madhya Pradesh

Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT), a global off-highway tyre leader with a growing presence in India’s on-highway tyre market, is stepping up its ambitions in India’s Commercial Vehicle Radial (CVR) market. The company has strengthened its distribution presence in Madhya Pradesh with a new warehouse in Indore, inaugurated on 21st August 2026, in the presence of BKT leadership. The expansion supports the company’s focus on growing its presence and market share in the state’s Commercial Vehicle Radial (CVR) segment. It also aligns with BKT Tyres’ broader ‘Elevate Your Drive’ proposition and its focus on delivering dependable mobility solutions for India’s evolving on-highway market.

Indore’s strong freight, trucking and passenger transport ecosystem, along with its proximity to the Pithampur industrial belt, makes it an important market for BKT Tyres’ growth in Madhya Pradesh. The new warehouse will strengthen product availability and regional distribution, while enabling closer engagement with dealers, transporters and fleet operators. The facility is operated by BKT Tyres’ authorised distributor, M/s Shivam Track Impex Pvt. Ltd., and will support the company in bringing its CVR portfolio closer to customers and responding to their evolving operational requirements.

The warehouse inauguration brought together BKT leadership, channel partners and prominent representatives from the state’s transport sector, including Rajiv Poddar, Joint Managing Director, BKT; Satish Sharma, Senior President and Director – Business Development and Strategy, BKT; and Amitkumar Agarwal, National Sales Head, Commercial Vehicle Radial Tyres, BKT. M/s Shivam Track Impex Pvt. Ltd. was represented by Shailendra Goyal and Shivam Goyal, and the gathering also included Rajendra Trehan, Chairman, Indore Transport Association, and Hari Prakash Dubey, Executive Secretary, Madhya Pradesh Bus Association, alongside members of the regional transport and fleet community.

Commenting on the initiative, Amitkumar Agarwal, National Sales Head, Commercial Vehicle Radial Tyres, BKT said: “Madhya Pradesh represents an important opportunity for BKT as we build our presence in India’s Commercial Vehicle Radial segment.  The expansion in the state reflects our confidence in the opportunity and our commitment to building the right ecosystem, in partnership with our authorised distributors to serve customers effectively. Indore provides a strategic base for us to strengthen our market access and engage more closely with fleet operators and channel partners.”

He adds, “The new warehouse is an important part of this approach, as it will help us improve product availability and create greater responsiveness across the market. We want to build long-term relationships with transporters, fleet owners and our channel partners and as we expand our CVR business in Madhya Pradesh, our objective is to create sustainable value for the entire ecosystem and grow together with our partners.”

The expansion comes as BKT Tyres continues to build its CVR business in India, following the launch of its commercial portfolio in Q1 FY2026–27, featuring the BKT m.Loadxpert (11.00R20) and BKT Milexpert RG (295/90R20). The company is seeing encouraging traction among customers and is focused on expanding its reach across key markets, supported by a growing distribution network and closer engagement with the ecosystem. The warehouse opening further strengthens the brand’s distribution capabilities, as it continues to build long-term value for customers and its partners.
