Could you share the evolution of POM Power’s journey in the power backup industry?
POM Power has a legacy of over 25 years in the power electronics sector. Our journey began in the UPS industry, where we focused on providing reliable power backup solutions. Over the years, we have adapted to the changing demands of the market and have successfully transitioned to scalable energy storage systems. Today, we are proud to be recognized as one of the largest solar energy storage systems providers in India. Our focus on building scalable products has allowed us to meet the diverse needs of our customers while contributing to the growth of the renewable energy sector in the country.
How do your products differ from others available in the market?
From the very beginning, POM Power has prioritized quality in our product offerings. We have invested significantly in research and development, which has resulted in several noteworthy installations of our energy storage systems. Our commitment to quality has earned us a strong reputation in the industry.
When it comes to our products, we pride ourselves on the advanced technology integrated into our battery systems, electronic systems, and control systems. Our energy management systems are fully cloud-based and can be programmed remotely, making them user-friendly and efficient.

At REI Expo 2024, we showcased a wide range of products. Our offerings include on-grid inverters, off-grid inverters, hybrid inverters, and energy storage systems. These products are designed to cater to the various needs of the solar industry. In particular, we are focusing on UPS systems, which are crucial for the solar sector. We aim to highlight how our products can enhance energy efficiency and support sustainable energy practices.
What are the unique selling points (USPs) of the products you offer?
Our products come with several unique selling points that set them apart in the industry. For example, our on-grid solar inverters are designed with a fully diecast aluminum body, which provides exceptional durability and allows for effective heat dispensing. This design ensures that our inverters can operate efficiently even under high-temperature conditions, resulting in higher energy generation. Additionally, our hybrid inverters offer a unique feature as they can operate both with battery storage and export energy, providing flexibility to our customers. We have a diverse range of inverters, from 2 kilowatts to 250 kilowatts, catering to different energy needs. Furthermore, our wall-mountable off-grid inverters are built with isolation transformers, making them rugged and suitable for various atmospheric conditions. These products have been specifically designed to withstand the unique challenges presented by the Indian environment, and we are also planning to export them to markets in Africa and beyond.
