Hartek Secures Major 765kV Projects
from PGCIL
Hartek Group has secured 765kV projects from the Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL), including high-voltage transmission projects in Indore and Kurnool. These projects aim to enhance power system reliability and increase transmission capacity to power-deficit regions, aligning with India’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its power infrastructure.
The 765kV projects are crucial for efficient power transmission, benefiting both the transmission and renewable energy sectors. These initiatives will help meet the growing electricity demand and improve the management of the national grid. According to the Central Electricity Authority, 765kV substations contribute approximately 23% to India’s total transformation capacity, amounting to 12,53,040 MVA.
Sanjeev Gupta, Director – Technical, Hartek Group, expressed pride in partnering with PGCIL to strengthen the National Grid. He stated, “Being a trusted partner of PGCIL in strengthening the National Grid is a significant achievement for us. We are committed to delivering high voltage substations and power transmission solutions.”
He added, “Our goal is to be a strong partner in building high-capacity power corridors, which are crucial for the future of India’s power transmission infrastructure.”
This achievement follows Hartek Group’s recent success in the power and renewable energy sector, securing an EPC contract worth INR 474 Crore from a global renewables IPP, highlighting Hartek’s leading industry position. Hartek Power Private Limited, a division of Hartek Group, has executed over 350 high-voltage projects, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
