Hartek bags 8 MW Solar EPC Contract in J&K
Hartek Group’s C&I Rooftop Solar Business Unit has been awarded an 8 MW solar EPC contract by Kandhari Beverages, one of Hindustan Coca-Cola’s largest bottling plants. The project, set to become Jammu & Kashmir’s largest rooftop solar installation, is scheduled for commissioning this quarter.
Simarpreet Singh, Executive Director & CEO of Hartek Group, highlighted the project’s significance, stating, “This remarkable 8 MW system is setting the standard for sustainable industrial development in Jammu & Kashmir, not merely powering a building. Our C&I roof top solar business unit will continue to partner with leading Industries to meet their sustainability & net zero goals.”
This marks the third collaboration between Hartek and Kandhari Beverages in the past two years, bringing their cumulative installations for the company to 14 MW. Hartek’s turnkey solution includes engineering and design, procurement of solar modules, inverters, and associated equipment, testing, commissioning, and one year of operations and maintenance (O&M).
