HANNOVER MESSE 2025 to Showcase Cutting-Edge Drive Technology and Fluid
Power Innovations
HANNOVER MESSE 2025 is set to highlight a strong international presence in drive technology and fluid power, with leading manufacturers from Germany and abroad showcasing the latest advancements under the Motion & Drives banner. Scheduled to take place in Halls 4, 5, and 6, the event will serve as a vital platform for companies to demonstrate innovative applications and components designed for intelligent and sustainable production.
The fair has traditionally been a key venue for the drive technology and fluid power sectors, especially during odd-numbered years, providing an essential meeting point for the export-oriented industry. Companies such as Atos, Bosch Rexroth, Cantoni, Festo, Flender, IMM Hydraulik, SEW-EURODRIVE, and Schaeffler have already confirmed their participation.
Hubertus von Monschaw, Global Director of Trade Fair and Product Management at HANNOVER MESSE, emphasized the fair’s unique industrial innovation ecosystem, saying, “With HANNOVER MESSE, we are offering exhibitors the opportunity to be embedded in a unique industrial innovation ecosystem. It is one in which companies from the engineering, electrical, and digital industries as well as the energy sector present efficient and sustainable solutions for current and future industrial value creation. The mix of representatives from research, business, start-ups, and politics meeting in one place at the same time is unique. This results in unique business potential and access to top-level decision-makers, technology scouts, experts, and media representatives from all over the world.”
Hartmut Rauen, Deputy Managing Director of the Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers Association (VDMA), echoed this sentiment, stating, “In 2025, HANNOVER MESSE and its Motion & Drives community will be the driver of innovation and center of gravity when it comes to the best new solutions for the engineering world. The Motion & Drives companies supply power, torque, positioning, data, and solutions for our real and virtual worlds.”
The event will feature an exclusive joint stand for VDMA members and the “Motion & Drives Conference Stage,” where industry leaders will discuss pressing topics such as digitalization, interconnectivity, and energy efficiency. A special show by the EU-funded Fluid 4.0 research project will also showcase digital and sustainable solutions in fluid and drive technology, addressing challenges related to system architecture, energy consumption, and recycling management.
The VDMA’s umati initiative will be prominently featured, highlighting an interface that facilitates easy data access and usage, crucial for advancing drive technology.
With Germany’s drive technology companies exporting goods worth EUR 17.9 billion last year, and fluid power exports reaching EUR 8.4 billion, HANNOVER MESSE 2025 promises to be a significant event for the industry, driving innovation and fostering global business opportunities.
