Greaves Retail Launches Advanced Electric Light Construction Equipment Range
Greaves Retail, a division of Greaves Cotton Limited and a key provider of clean mobility and energy solutions, unveiled its new range of electrified light construction equipment at bauma CONEXPO India 2024. Focused on sustainability, the new range integrates advanced electrification technologies to deliver zero-emission solutions, enhancing performance while reducing operational costs.
The newly launched lineup includes:
– Mini Excavator Range: This category includes 2-ton to 4-ton models equipped with a Kubota engine, offering higher digging forces for heavy-duty excavation in challenging conditions.
– Electric Scissor Lift Range: Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, this range offers platform heights from 6 meters to 14 meters, featuring overload sensing, automatic braking, and zero-emission battery-powered operation.
– Electric Boom Lift: With a platform height of 13.8 meters and horizontal outreach of 7.81 meters, this compact, battery-powered lift is suitable for navigating tight urban spaces and includes intelligent self-diagnostic systems.
Excel Controlinkage Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Greaves Cotton Ltd., also showcased its advanced engineering capabilities at the event. The display included gear shift levers, cables, throttle controls, parking brake levers, and metal-bonded rubber products, designed for heavy commercial vehicles and construction equipment.
Speaking at the launch, Narasimha Jayakumar, CEO, Greaves Retail, highlighted the rapid growth of India’s construction sector, fueled by government investments in infrastructure and rural development.
