ACE Micromatic Shines at INTEC 2024

ACE Micromatic Group showcased a remarkable array of cutting-edge products at INTEC 2024, highlighting their advancements in CNC machinery and simulation technology. V. Veeramani, Regional Head – Tamil Nadu, Micromatic Machine Tools, provided an in-depth walkthrough of the displayed products, emphasizing their significance for both the educational and corporate sectors.

At INTEC 2024, ACE Micromatic demonstrated its commitment to technological excellence and innovation. The focus was on enhancing training methods and boosting productivity across various industries through their advanced CNC simulators and high-speed cutting machines.

ACE Micromatic CNC Simulator
Veeramani introduced the ACE Micromatic CNC Simulator, a versatile tool designed for educational institutions and corporate training programs. “This simulator offers hands-on experience with four major controllers: Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and NNI. It includes both CNC turning and VMC models, providing a comprehensive evaluation method to assess trainees’ programming skills and machine operation,” he explained.

The simulator supports two-axis and three-axis operations, with capabilities extending up to five-axis. It is available in two models: a basic version with single dongle access for multiple users and an advanced version with the machine’s actual MOP for real-time simulation. “This tool ensures a one-to-one experience with the machine, generating alarms for incorrect programs and allowing both online and offline simulations,” Veeramani added.

Taurus Mac Circular Saw 80
Another highlight at the exhibition was the Taurus Mac Circular Saw 80, a high-speed cutting machine with a diameter capacity ranging from 10 mm to 80 mm. “This machine, equipped with a 6-meter bar feeder, can be offered with either PLC or CNC base,” Veeramani noted. The Taurus Mac Circular Saw 80 offers carbide and inserted cutters for enhanced productivity, making it ideal for the auto and bearing industries. “With a cycle time of just 10 seconds for an 80 mm rod, this machine exemplifies high-speed efficiency and is a product of our SPM division, featuring 1400 indigenous patterns and special designs,” he emphasized.

1690V-50 with Mitsubishi Controller
The 1690V-50, displayed with a Mitsubishi controller, stood out for its robust specifications. “This machine features a bed size of 1800 by 800 and an axis stroke of 1630 by 910 by 800, with a maximum power output of 22 kilowatts,” Veeramani said. Available in BT40 and offering both half and full guarding, the 1690V-50 caters to pattern making, diamond mold industries, and larger component manufacturing.

VTL300XL Machine
The VTL300XL, another key exhibit, was presented with hardened gateways and box-type headways for both axes. “This model boasts a maximum turning diameter of 500 mm and a turning length of 700 mm, with a 22-kilowatt power capacity,” Veeramani explained. Displayed with a Fanuc controller and compatible with Siemens and Mitsubishi controllers, the VTL300XL is particularly suited for gear manufacturing and heavy metal removal.

Conclusion
INTEC 2024 was a testament to ACE Micromatic Group’s dedication to advancing CNC technology and manufacturing efficiency. With innovative products like the CNC Simulator, Taurus Mac Circular Saw 80, 1690V-50, and VTL300XL, the company continues to set new benchmarks in the industry. Their focus on training, productivity, and technological integration showcases their commitment to empowering both educational and corporate sectors.
