Testo launches smart T&M product line at ACREX

Testo, a global major in the field of portable test and measurement instrumentation and solutions, announced the launch of its new product line in India at the ongoing ACREX India 2023 in Mumbai.

Commenting on the new launch, Kalidas Bhangare, Managing Director, Testo India, “The new range of smart test and measurements are designed to make testing and measuring easier and more efficient for professionals in HVAC, refrigeration, and other related industries.” He adds, “The products are Internet based – one can transfer the data through Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi and that’s how we make the instruments user-friendly.”

Also, present at the occasion, Dirk Göpfert, Head of Product Management, Climate & Refrigeration Instrumentation Division, Testo SE & Co. KGaA said, “We launched our new compact class test and measurement equipment that are used for measuring humidity temperature pressure and air velocity. The new range is more digitalized and connected to smartphones and tablets and are easier to use for a customer.” The new compact class range from Testo are perfect for installing and maintaining air conditioning and ventilation systems, servicing heating systems, ensuring indoor air quality and comfort, measuring pressure across HVAC and industrial applications, or measuring temperature in food and laboratory environments.

Pankaj Dharkar, President, Pankaj Dharkar and Associates (PDA) visited the Testo stall at ACREX and said, “HVAC&R industry is supposed to be consuming 50 to 60% of energy and therefore the importance of accuracy of instruments is extremely important. As a consultant, I look forward for measuring instruments with very high accuracy and to me Testo is demonstrating something which is very important tool by which we can further develop systems which can save energy for the nation.” Mr. Dharkar is also the Past President of ASHRAE Western India Chapter and Past National President of ISHRAE.

Dilip Jha, Director, VRF Aircon Pvt Ltd, an end-user of Testo solutions for a long time, said, “I am a contractor and for years have been using Testo’s Data Logger, CFM reading machine and App based machines that are used to take CFM and other parameters of HVAC systems. Those are a fantastic products and we are very satisfied with the products. The new (compact class) range products will be the game changer for the OEMs.”
