Schmalz presents Binar Handling solutions at IMTEX Forming 2024

Schmalz, a prominent player in vacuum automation and ergonomic handling solutions, has witnessed consistent growth and expansion at its Pune facility since 1999, when it established its subsidiary, Schmalz India. The company recently showcased its innovative products and technologies at IMTEX Forming 2024, where Niranjan Bhangale, Industry Segment Manager – Handling Systems Solutions, Schmalz India discussed the patented vacuum master for the sheet metal industry. Additionally, he highlighted the company’s versatile systems deployed in the FMCG and electronics sectors, contributing to a vast portfolio of over 6,000 products.

Talking to mojo4industry about the new launch, he said, “Binar Handling is now part of the Schmalz Group. Schmalz is known for vacuum handling technology, but we aim to broaden our focus to applications beyond vacuum. Binar Handling plays a role in this by providing assistance in precise industry applications through mechanical and pneumatic solutions,” and introduced his mates Torbjorn Linder, Area Sales Manager – Export; and Patrik Svalin, Design and Quotation Engineer, from Binar Handling present at IMTEX Forming.

Speaking about the applications of the product displayed, Patrik Svalin said, “This is a magnetic endpoint. With it, the lifter can lift objects weighing less than 10 kg, and you can activate it easily by pressing the button. The operation is very smooth.”
