Can you share an innovative project or technology EATON has been involved in recently, related to the energy transition?
EATON is a key provider of switching and protection components to major Renewable Power OEMs. We collaborate closely with utilities on the adoption of SF6-free switchgear. Recently, EATON supplied Xiria E Solid and Air-Insulated switchgear to Bestcom for a unique pilot underground substation. This initiative aims to free up ground space for urban use and establish a maintenance-free, sustainable distribution system.
EATON is involved in numerous global projects where we integrate Renewable Power and energy storage systems, creating genuinely zero-carbon facilities. Our active engagement extends to developing microgrids, ensuring power resilience, particularly in remote or critical infrastructure settings.
What is EATON’s role in the growth of electric mobility?
EATON is dedicated to playing a crucial role in the adoption of EV and its infrastructure. Our reliable fuse protection systems ensure the safety of EV vehicles by preventing fire hazards. EATON offers a complete e-mobility solution and battery monitoring systems.
