HARTING Unveils Vision for “All Electric Society” at HANNOVER MESSE Preview

Drawing a diverse crowd of approximately 30 journalists from around the globe, the event, held at the HARTING Forum in Espelkamp, provided attendees with a firsthand experience of cutting-edge exhibits and products. Participants also had the opportunity to explore behind-the-scenes glimpses at key facilities like the ZEA Green Energy biomethane plant in Uchte, owned by Board member Dietmar Harting, and the HARTING plant in Espelkamp.
At the subsequent HANNOVER MESSE Preview, attended by over 100 journalists, HARTING experts showcased the group’s latest innovations under the theme “Energising a Sustainable Industry.” Central to this theme was the concept of an “All Electric Society,” envisioning a world where energy needs are met entirely through electricity sourced from renewable resources.
Key discussions at the trade press conference emphasized the critical role of sector coupling and networking within and across industries. HARTING highlighted its comprehensive range of cabling solutions tailored to support this vision, from standard plug-and-play cables to bespoke assemblies and distribution boxes, with applications showcased in hydrogen distribution, railway systems, and industrial networks.
Furthermore, experts stressed the importance of high-performance Ethernet-based networks for successful sector coupling, enabling the seamless flow of energy and communication.
