Schmersal India appoints Ramji Singh as Managing Director
The Schmersal Group has appointed Ramji Singh as the new Managing Director of its subsidiary Schmersal India. “The takeover of the management comes into force with immediate effect. Mr. Ramji succeeds Sagar Bhosale, who has decided to leave the company for personal reasons after a long and successful tenure,” the company said in a statement.
Ramji Singh has decades of experience as a manager in senior positions with well known international companies in the automation industry. He joined Schmersal India in 2015 as Associate Vice President and has been Vice President Sales & Marketing since 2018.
“Ramji Singh is the leader Schmersal India needs now. He has worked for our company for many years and brings with him a deep understanding of the industry and a clear vision for the future of our company,” says Uwe Seeger, Director Asia-Pacific & Middle East at the Schmersal Group.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Ramji said, “It is an honour for me to take over the management of Schmersal India and to continue its successful course. Schmersal India is increasingly establishing itself as a fast-growing hub for innovative product development within the Schmersal Group. The latest examples are IloT enabled safety switches, complete IIoT solutions such as our energy monitoring system or our digital LOTO APP. These are all solutions that we have developed together with our global IT and technology centre SGCC in India.”
