How do industrial automation and test & measurement complement each other? What solutions does Testo offer for the industrial automation segment?
Test and measurement are at the heart of Testo’s business, with over 64 years of expertise in the industry. For the automation sector, we provide a wide range of solutions, including temperature instruments, humidity instruments, and velocity instruments. All our products are equipped with smart technology, allowing seamless connectivity to smartphones via our app, making data access and monitoring more convenient and efficient.
Testo is a pioneer in smart test and measurement solutions. What smart solutions are you offering now?
In our smart solutions portfolio, we currently offer products tailored for the refrigeration, air conditioning, and electrical industries. One of our standout offerings is thermal imaging, which plays a critical role in predictive and preventive maintenance by helping customers identify potential issues before they escalate. Additionally, our refrigeration solutions are a key offering, particularly valuable for industries like air conditioning and ventilation.
How do test & measurement solutions play a vital role in achieving Industry 4.0 goals?
You can’t act without measuring. Testo provides precise measurement tools that allow businesses to collect accurate data. Once you have this data, you can analyze it, identify issues, and implement corrective actions using Testo’s solutions.
You mentioned, “If you can’t measure, you can’t act.” What new solutions has Testo introduced to help industries measure and respond more effectively?
For the automation sector, we’ve launched innovative solutions for measuring humidity and temperature. These systems can be wireless, Wi-Fi-enabled, or connected via Ethernet, delivering real-time data directly to the customer’s fingertips. This is especially beneficial for industries like pharma and food, where precise environmental monitoring is crucial for maintaining quality and compliance.
What does the future hold for Testo in India, and what are your growth targets?
Testo has been consistently growing yearly, and we’re proud to have completed 18 successful years in India. I’m pleased to share that we’re experiencing double-digit growth across all sectors. Looking ahead, our focus is on continuing to invest in new applications tailored to the needs of Indian customers, ensuring we stay at the forefront of innovation and industry demand.

Our team is dedicated to offering solutions that address customer challenges. Every year, we send our team to Germany for comprehensive training in product knowledge and areas like applications, sales, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
