SWELECT unveils new brand identity; launches NUMERGY BESS product portfolio

SWELECT Energy Systems Ltd., a prominent player in India’s renewable energy sector and formerly known as Numeric Power Systems Ltd., has unveiled a new corporate brand identity along with the launch of its NUMERGY product portfolio of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and home energy solutions.

The company revealed a new logo and the brand tagline, “Powering the World Responsibly,” signaling what it describes as the next phase of its evolution and a renewed long-term focus on clean, reliable energy. The refreshed identity underscores SWELECT’s transition from its legacy in conventional power solutions to a broader emphasis on sustainable and integrated energy offerings spanning solar, storage, and end-to-end energy systems.

Commenting on the unveiling of the new brand identity, R. Chellappan, Founder & Vice Chairman, SWELECT Energy Systems Ltd. said, “Our new identity reflects how far we have come and where we are headed. From building dependable power solutions under Numeric to focusing on clean energy through SWELECT, our core values remain the same – reliability, responsibility and trust. ‘Powering the World Responsibly’ aptly captures our belief that growth and sustainability must go hand in hand.”

SWELECT’s roots trace back to Numeric Power Systems, a brand long associated with reliability in India’s power electronics industry. Numeric established a strong reputation in UPS systems, with the company highlighting an industry-leading 99.9999% reliability record. According to SWELECT, that engineering legacy and customer trust continue to shape its approach as it expands into renewable and storage-led solutions.

Aligned with the rebranding, the company launched NUMERGY, a comprehensive energy storage portfolio designed to meet rising demand for dependable, round-the-clock power. The range includes BESS and home energy solutions targeted at residential users, small offices and home offices (SOHO), as well as large commercial and industrial (C&I) customers. The portfolio is positioned as scalable, supporting applications from homes to enterprise-scale operations.

Unveiling the NUMERGY product range, Dr. Arulkumar Shanmugasundaram, CEO & Managing Director, SWELECT Energy Systems Ltd. said, “BESS are central to the future of reliable and resilient power.
