Ashok Chhajer, Sr. GM, OE Sales, BKT Tires said, “We are presenting our latest product, emphasizing our all-steel radial tire range designed primarily for Large Mining Truck (LMT) applications, including large mining trucks and wheel loaders. The tire showcased here is tailored for wheel loader applications, recently introduced in this event. The Indian mining industry has experienced significant growth in the past and current years, exhibiting strong momentum in both domestic consumption and the export of equipment manufactured in India for the global market. This surge is evident in the mining industry, both in terms of equipment and spare parts.”
Sauro Jyoti Ray, Business Head – Mining, SANY India said, “Currently, in addition to highly fuel-efficient machines, we are introducing electric battery-powered trucks and loaders for the mining industry, followed by electric excavators. The goal is to reduce the overall mining costs and address concerns related to both air and noise pollution.”
