Devendra Fadnavis Exclusive l Middle East Crisis
Don’t panic – there is no fuel shortage in Maharashtra, says CM Devendra Fadnavis amid global oil concerns.
In this video, Fadnavis reassures citizens that petrol, diesel, and household gas supplies remain stable despite international tensions. He credits the Central government for keeping prices in check and reducing excise duty by ₹10 per litre to protect consumers.
“I would like to thank the Indian government and the Prime Minister… there was a suspicion that the price of petrol and diesel would increase, but that price did not increase,” he said.
He also highlighted how neighbouring countries are facing shutdowns due to fuel crises, while India continues to maintain stable supply.
“We have a full one-month supply of petrol and diesel,” Fadnavis assured, urging people not to create unnecessary crowds at fuel stations.
He warned that panic buying could lead to an “artificial shortage” and cautioned against hoarding or malpractice.
