In an interview with mojo4industry, from REI 2023, Aniket Tondare, Director – Distribution Sales, and Suraj Gawande, Director – Production, both representing ECE India Energies, shed light on the groundbreaking approach of the company in the solar energy sector.

With a primary focus on catering to the unique energy needs of India, ECE India Energies has developed itself as a leading pioneer in the domain of solar panel technology. With a strong emphasis on local production and customization, ECE India Energies has emerged as an inspiration of hope for a greener and more energy-efficient future in India.

As they continue to spearhead the solar energy revolution in the country, their unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and environmental sustainability remains at the core of their endeavors.

Can you provide some information about ECE India Energies?
Aniket Tondare: ECE India manufactures solar modules with a current capacity of 200 megawatts in Amravati and 100 megawatts in Latur, Maharashtra. We operate in 18 states across the country and supply modules to various subsidy projects and SECY projects, including utility-scale projects. Our distribution and channel sales system is well-established, and we have been in the market for 13 years.

Could you please provide information about the products and technologies being showcased here?
Aniket Tondare: As a manufacturing company, we currently produce modules ranging from 20 MW to 580 MW. We are introducing a new ecosystem for our channel partners and sales, including a newly developed app. This app aims to provide a seamless experience, offering a single window for various operations. The app is currently undergoing a testing phase and is expected to go live within two months. It will enable our partners and distributors to place orders, and access invoices, GCR declarations, and warranty certificates with a simple click, streamlining their operations.

When discussing with you or your team, the focus often centers around the prosperity of your channel partners and the expansion of your network. How is this expansion progressing?
Aniket Tondare: The channel partner program is a significant initiative for our management, aiming to foster the growth of our partners’ businesses within the solar industry. We aim to facilitate their expansion and streamline their operations. ECE India offers comprehensive support, including training, awareness campaigns, promotions, marketing, and lead generation, while ensuring competitive rates and convenience. Currently operational in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat, we are actively expanding to Rajasthan. Our goal is to incorporate 10,000 channel partners within a few years, with our dedicated team working towards this objective. We encourage all viewers to join ECE India’s channel partner program for a comprehensive support package.

Can you provide additional information about the products showcased at the REI Expo?
Suraj Gawande: We manufacture solar modules with a capacity of 10 MW. Recently, we launched the topcon technology and produced 585 modules for this exhibition. Last time, we introduced 545 modules. Our manufacturing process adheres to strict quality standards for solar panel production.

ECE is a locally established company. How do you stay competitive in the market and what sets you apart from your competitors?
Suraj Gawande: We are situated in the central region of India. We are the sole manufacturer certified for producing modules with DCR technology. Our specialization in Indian-made sales distinguishes us in the market. Furthermore, our strategic location facilitates convenient logistics for nearby EPC players and customers, ensuring ease of transportation.
