Cables Facility

APAR Industries has been at the forefront of powering industries, cities, and nations through cutting-edge cable solutions. With its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Khatalwada, Gujarat, the company has built a global reputation for precision, safety, and innovation. Today, APAR cables connect over 140 countries, making it a true “Desh Ka Taar”.

World-class manufacturing
Spanning 44.5 acres, with an additional 46 acres already acquired for expansion, APAR’s Khatalwada facility is strategically developed to manufacture cables that power industries, infrastructure, and lives across the world. The plant is a showcase of automation, precision engineering, and global quality certifications.

“At APAR, we don’t just make cables, we engineer excellence. Our superior product design, global certification and cutting-edge R&D puts us at the forefront of the cable industry, not just in India but across 140 countries,” said Shashi Amin, CEO, APAR Cable Solutions.

Light-duty and HT/LT cables
From domestic use to industrial applications, APAR’s light-duty cables stand out for their flexibility, safety, and durability. These cables are engineered to meet the highest standards demanded by industries and residential users alike.

“When it comes to light-duty cables, APAR stands out for its flexibility, safety and durability. We meet the highest standard demanded by the industries and residential users alike,” shared Uma Shankar, Sr. DGM – Technical (QA & QC), APAR Cable Solutions.

The facility also deploys a highly automated continuous vulcanization process to produce high- and low-tension cables, ensuring resilience and conductivity even under extreme conditions. With its advanced electron beam (e-beam) technology, APAR enhances cable durability, temperature resistance, and insulation, enabling specialized industrial performance.

Advanced fibre & hybrid solutions
As the backbone of modern digital infrastructure, optical fibre cables are another strong focus at APAR. “APAR optical fibre cable delivers high speed, high reliability performance, a backbone for modern digital infrastructure,” said Y.K. Gupta, AVP – Operations, APAR Cable Solutions.

The company has also pioneered hybrid cable solutions that integrate power and data — ideal for smart cities, renewable energy, and automotive applications. This represents the next frontier in intelligent cabling. Supporting this innovation is APAR’s NABL-accredited laboratory in Umbergaon, a cornerstone of quality assurance and advanced testing.

One of Asia’s most advanced facilities
With automation embedded across every stage of production, the Khatalwada facility is recognized as one of Asia’s most advanced cable manufacturing plants.

“Khatalwada facility is one of the most advanced cable manufacturing plants in Asia. We manufacture different varieties of cables for indigenous as well as export applications. From raw materials to final packaging, everything is automated, integrated and optimized for global quality standards,” said A.K. Samanta, Sr. VP – Technical, APAR Cable Solutions.

Every cable that leaves the facility reflects APAR’s focus on safety, reliability, and performance. “At APAR, every cable produced is a commitment to safety, reliability and performance. Our aluminium conductors are the backbones of efficient power transmission, offering the perfect balance of strength, conductivity and cost efficiency,” explained Srinivas Parvatikar, AVP, APAR Cable Solutions.

Built to last, trusted worldwide
With plans to expand its footprint to nearly 150 acres and aiming at a revenue milestone of Rs 10,000 crore by FY 2029, the Khatalwada facility is poised to become a global hub for advanced cable innovation.

“What sets APAR’s Khatalwada cables apart? It’s the precision in design, automation in production and unmatched focus on safety. The cables are built to perform and built to last,” highlighted Suprabhat Datta, DGM – QC, APAR Cable Solutions.
