RSB Transmissions opens its new facility in Andhra’s Sri City

RSB Transmissions (I) Ltd, a Rs 3000-crore-plus multi-locational global enterprise, has expanded its footprint in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, with inauguration of a state-of-the-art plant. This is RSB’s 13th manufacturing facility and will manufacture propeller shaft assembly and cater to future requirements of customers in South India.

The plant was inaugurated jointly by Rajesh Mittal, President IEBCI & Deputy President Isuzu Motors India;  Naohiro Mukaida, Vice President – Purchasing HQ, Isuzu Motors; and Jagadish Hegde, Senior Vice President & Director- IEBCI.

Speaking on the occasion, RK Behera, Chairman, RSB Group, said, “We have a lion’s share in propeller shaft market with excellence in quality and ruggedness, meeting global standards.  Our 13th plant is outcome of trust and confidence reposed on us by global giants for SCV/M&HCV segments.”

M Sankaranaryanan, Executive Director – Operations, RSB said, “Our prime objective enshrined in our quality approach is customer delight at all times and proactively offer upgraded products through continual research & development, product differentiation and tap areas hitherto untapped.”

Nishit Behera, Executive Director – Business Development & Strategy, RSB adds, “It will be a state-of-the-art plant meeting stringent quality requirements of Izuzu Motors, also cater to other customers in South.”

Rajnikant Behera, Executive Director – Group Finance, RSB said, “This will boost our significant pan India and global presence as a leading industrial institution in auto segment with our auto vertical having world-renowned  business excellence practices with Deming Prize and TPM awards from Japan.”
