Emerson launches new Variable Speed Scroll Compressor Solution for Commercial AC
Emerson announces the launch of its new Copeland 110cc variable speed scroll compressor and 36kW inverter drive solution; both manufactured in China and available for global distribution. These new products are engineered to help save energy and provide environmentally friendly improvements for a broad range of commercial air-conditioning applications including chillers, data centers and package air conditioners, it said.
“The new Copeland 110cc variable speed scroll compressor and 36kW inverter drive solution deliver up to 30% reduction in power consumption over conventional fixed-speed technology,” the company claims. “Compatible with multiple refrigerants, including R32, an environmentally-responsible refrigerant, Emerson’s integrated variable speed solution helps enable air-conditioning OEMs to meet energy regulations and building owners to meet future commercial building trends without sacrificing performance.”
