Blue Energy Motors Unveils “Made in India” Electric Heavy-Duty Truck
Blue Energy Motors (BEM) has launched its first electric heavy-duty truck featuring advanced battery-swapping technology, at an event held in Chakan, Pune.
Commenting on the occasion, Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra said: “India recognized the need for indigenous electric cargo vehicles, and today Blue Energy Motors marks a proud milestone with the launch of its Made-in-India electric trucks. This achievement embodies Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s Make in India vision, showcasing that advanced automotive design, engineering, and manufacturing are now being accomplished entirely in India. What makes it even more special is that this innovation has been realized right here in Maharashtra, in Pune—a true moment of pride for our state and nation.”
