BKT Launches Advanced Mobility Solutions at EXCON 2023
BKT, a vertical of Balkrishna Industries Ltd., an Indian multinational company and a global player in the Off-Highway tire market, introduced advanced All-Steel Radial tires at EXCON, the South-Asian trade fair held in Bengaluru.
Elaborating on the ‘Bharat Ka Tire’ campaign Rajiv Poddar, Joint Managing Director, Balkrishna Industries Ltd. said, “At BKT, ‘Bharat Ka Tire’ is more than a campaign name; it’s a commitment that underscores our brand’s dedication to contributing to the development of our nation. BKT, a prominent off-highway tire manufacturer, presented its top-tier tires for construction, industrial, and earthmoving equipment at EXCON. Notable offerings included the EARTHMAX SR468 and EARTHMAX SR53 tires, along with the newly introduced rubber tracks Multiforce BK T91 for compact track loaders. BKT’s booth at the expo showcased world-class tires as part of the ‘Bharat Ka Tire Building Bharat’ initiative.
A standout feature was the Giant EARTHMAX SR 468, an advanced All-Steel radial tire designed for rigid haul trucks. Its unique tread design and special compounds make it ideal for challenging mining conditions, providing effective heat dissipation and resistance to rock cuts and punctures. The tire, developed with cutting-edge technology, excels in carrying heavy loads and ensuring a longer service life. The sturdy square shoulder aids in ejecting loose stones, safeguarding the tire from damage.
Another highlight was the EARTHMAX SR 53, an All-Steel radial tire tailored for ultra-large loaders operating in severe conditions. The deep L-5 tread, made of a cut-resistant compound, offers exceptional abrasion-resistant properties during loading operations.
The newly introduced industrial rubber track series Multiforce BK T91, designed for compact track loaders in material handling applications, was also featured at EXCON 2023. Its high-performance compound ensures maximum resistance against cuts, tears, and abrasion on various surfaces. The C-shaped tread pattern provides superior handling and traction on diverse terrains, while the dual forged metal core ensures strength and durability. The endless belting design, incorporating high-tensile steel cords, ensures better dimensional stability and optimal performance in extreme conditions.
