Putzmeister Launches Electric Mixer Truck iONTRON

Putzmeister India, a leading provider of concrete equipment and solutions, has announced the launch of its iONTRON Electric Mixer Truck, marking a significant milestone in the electrification of concrete transportation in the country.
Powered by a 282 kWh LFP battery, the 100% electric mixer offers up to 200 km of range, delivering zero-emission and quieter operation for construction applications. With 205 kW rated and 405 kW peak power, the ARAI certified iONTRON mixer truck is engineered to combine electric efficiency with the performance required for demanding construction environments.
Beyond sustainability, the iONTRON is designed to deliver ‘Profit with Every Kilometre’. Its low energy consumption helps reduce running costs, while the electric architecture can lower maintenance requirements. Integrated telematics further enables performance monitoring and smarter fleet management.
Technology and operator experience remain at the heart of the iONTRON. The mixer features advanced regenerative braking, ABS + ASR, 360° camera, Intelligent Machine Control, AMT transmission and 6×4 bogie suspension, along with built-in battery and motor safety features. Fast 240 kW DC charging supports greater machine availability and operational efficiency.
