ECE India Energies Powering Approcool Aircon
In the industrial hub of Jalna MIDC Phase III, a new benchmark in clean energy has been set. On June 25, Approcool Aircon Pvt. Ltd. commissioned a 700-kW rooftop solar power system, designed and executed by ECE India Energies, marking a significant stride toward sustainability and energy savings.
A leap toward green energy
Spanning 65,000 square feet of metal sheet rooftop, the installation is built with ECE’s latest high-efficiency modules and inverters. The system is not only a powerhouse of performance but also a symbol of innovation. With an estimated annual saving of ₹1.02 crore, the project reflects the financial and environmental value of clean energy.
“This execution was very smooth, and it will help us grow in a green energy world,” said Dasharath V. Phad, Executive Director (Manufacturing), Approcool Aircon. “We have installed a 700-kW solar system on our rooftop, and the operation has been uninterrupted. The maintenance is nominal, and our team has been well-trained, ensuring silent and efficient work hours on our roof,” he further added.
Engineering innovation
Executing a 700-kW solar system on a metal sheet structure came with unique challenges—from load management to thermal balancing. ECE’s team tackled these with precision, ensuring the rooftop solar system was optimized for maximum efficiency.
Special thermal buffers were integrated into the design to reduce heat ingress into the facility, delivering both energy generation and thermal comfort. “Every project is different. While designing on a thin sheet, safety and long-term yield are very important. This is the new design of innovation,” noted Atul Meshram, VP-Sales, ECE India Energies.
Collaboration and trust
This milestone is the result of collaboration between Approcool’s visionary leadership and ECE’s world-class solar engineering team. Both organizations worked hand-in-hand to ensure the project not only met but exceeded expectations.
“It’s all about the trust,” said Jitendra Rathi, MD, Approcool. “ECE really brings technical expertise as well as clarity in execution. That makes the real difference.”
Future-ready components
Aniket Tondare, Sales Director, ECE India Energies said, “Every component installed is future-ready. The solar modules were specifically chosen for superior performance at high temperatures and long-term durability, making them ideal for sites like Approcool Aircon.”
Beyond savings: a legacy of responsibility
The impact of this project goes far beyond numbers. By reducing carbon emissions, optimizing industrial energy use, and integrating innovative thermal solutions, Approcool Aircon is actively contributing to a cleaner tomorrow.
This rooftop solar project is not just about energy savings—it’s about responsibility, innovation, and environmental stewardship.
Powering progress together
Approcool Aircon, in partnership with ECE India Energies, has shown that sustainability is not just a choice—it’s a strategy. One that drives progress, strengthens industry competitiveness, and secures a greener future.
