17th NAREDCO National Convention Set to Spotlight Regulatory Reforms, Urban Transformation, and Real Estate Growth

New Delhi, 1st August 2025: As India pushes forward its urbanisation and housing ambitions amid rapid demographic and economic shifts, the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) today announced the 17th edition of its flagship National Convention, scheduled for August 29–30, in New Delhi. With the theme “Resilient India: Inclusive, Sustainable, and Future-Ready”, the convention aims to foster serious dialogue between the real estate industry, policymakers, investors, and technology leaders.

During the curtain raiser, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta assured the industry members and said,  “Government just needs 2 years to revamp Delhi and fill the bottleneck of past 10 years of developmental backlog. We urge the industry members and developers to come up with the PPP models for developing state-of-the-art hospitals, schools, shopping malls, accommodations and infrastructure and the government will give the full policy and funding support.”

The CM emphasized slum redevelopment, pollution control via parali-processing units, and a simplified licensing regime to make Delhi a high-tech capital. “With a double-engine government, we’re aiming for double-digit growth,” she said.

NAREDCO Chairman Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani stressed the shift to green, tech-enabled construction, calling Delhi a key player in the national transition. President G Hari Babu noted the event will address key policy bottlenecks affecting growth, regulation, and innovation.

NAREDCO Delhi President Harsh Vardhan Bansal highlighted the need for smarter, sustainable urban development amid land and environmental constraints in the capital.

Union Housing Minister Manohar Lal will attend as Chief Guest. Key discussion areas include RERA reforms, affordable housing, PPP frameworks, REIT investments, green tech, urban mobility, and ease of doing business.

With over 800 participants expected, the convention aims to catalyze real estate innovation, investment, and policy alignment.
